FSANZ has completed an administrative assessment and accepted the following application. Assessment has now commenced and an opportunity to comment will be publicly notified at a later date.
General procedure
APVMA - proposed amendments to Schedule 20
The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) have notified FSANZ of applications or other proposed changes now under consideration, that may result in a variation to Schedule 20 of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (the Code).
Pursuant to section 82 of the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991, the APVMA has authority to amend the Maximum Residue Limits Standard, which is Schedule 20 of the Code.
