A1325 - Use of steviol glycosides as a food additive in hot plate flour products

This application seeks to permit the addition of steviol glycosides to flour products that are cooked on hot plates (such as crumpets, pikelets and pancakes) at a level no greater than the proposed maximum permitted level (MPL) of 350 mg/kg (as steviol equivalents).

This application is being assessed under FSANZ’s general procedure and will include one round of public consultation. The current call for submissions will run from 29 September to 11 November 2026.
