Farewell to FSANZ Board Chair Glenys Beauchamp Glenys Beauchamp AO PSM has concluded her term as Chair of the FSANZ Board after more than four years of dedicated service. As Chair, Glenys led the Board in agency governance, decision making on food standards for Australia and New Zealand and supporting a strong and effective bi-national food regulation system. Her leadership guided the Board through complex and emerging issues, including new food technologies, regulatory modernisation and alignment across jurisdictions. During her term, the Board made a range of significant decisions to ensure the standards framework remains contemporary and responsive. These included:

Proposal P1052 - PPP Requirements for Horticulture (Berries, Leafy Vegetables and Melons) On 12 August 2022, new primary production and processing standards were introduced for berries, leafy vegetables and melons. Three new standards have been included in the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code:
