FSANZ71 13-14 September 2017

At its 71st meeting held in Canberra on 13 and 14 September 2017, the FSANZ Board approved four draft variations to the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (the Code).

These decisions have been notified to the Australia and New Zealand Ministerial Forum on Food Regulation. The Approval reports summarising the reasons for these decisions are available on the FSANZ website.

The Board’s next face-to-face meeting will be held in Canberra on 6 and 7 December 2017.

Teleconference - 9 August 2017

At its 9 August 2017 teleconference, the FSANZ Board ​approved one draft variation to the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (the Code).

This decision has been notified to the Australia and New Zealand Ministerial Forum on Food Regulation. The Approval report summarising the reasons for this decision is available on the FSANZ website.

The Board’s next face-to-face meeting will be held in Canberra on 13 and 14 September 2017.

FSANZ70 21-22 June 2017

At its 70th meeting held in Canberra on 21 and 22 June 2017, the FSANZ Board approved four draft variations to the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (the Code).

These decisions have been notified to the Australia and New Zealand Ministerial Forum on Food Regulation. The Approval reports summarising the reasons for these decisions are available on the FSANZ website.

During its meeting in Canberra, the FSANZ Board took the opportunity to meet with a range of industry, consumer, public health and government stakeholders.

The Board’s next face-to-face meeting will be held in Canberra on 13 and 14 September 2017.

At its 69th meeting held in Wellington, New Zealand on 8 and 9 March 2017, the FSANZ Board approved six draft variations to the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.
