INFORMATION ON ANZFA
In Australia, general queries about the ANZFA should be directed to the Information Officer at the Authority's Canberra office. In New Zealand, the Authority's office in Wellington should be contacted.
These offices can provide copies of all public documents available from the Authority including those referred to below. They are also downloadable from the ANZFA home page. Copies of papers relating to applications or proposals referred to within this Information Circular can be directly viewed through the link provided.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - MATTERS AT FULL ASSESSMENT
The Authority has made a preliminary assessment, accepted the following applications for further consideration and will now make a full assessment. You are invited to present written submissions to the Authority on these matters, including the potential regulatory impact on consumers, industry and government, by 11 September 2001 .

The Authority has made recommendations to the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Council that the following variation to standards be adopted:

INFORMATION CIRCULAR NUMBERING
ANZFA Food Standards Information Service Circulars are numbered according to the number of the circular issued each financial year. Accordingly this Circular is numbered 02/02, which identifies it as the second issued during the current 2001/2002 financial year.
THE AUTHORITY'S 'PUBLIC REGISTER'
Did you know that the Authority provides public access to its files relating to applications and proposals? These 'public register files' consist of copies of applications received by the Authority (or proposals it raises); copies of the Authority's assessment reports; and copies of all submissions received. (Material deemed Commercial in Confidence however is not placed on public register files).
The files are available for viewing in the Authority's Canberra and Wellington offices, and photocopies can be made. A small fee ($22), plus 20c per page photocopying charge for any copies made, is payable.
