DISCUSSION PAPER
FSANZ has prepared a discussion paper, including draft variations, for the following Proposal; will make a Final Assessment in relation to the draft; and invites written submissions for the purpose of making a Final Assessment by 6 pm (Canberra time) 5 September 2005:
- Proposal P292 – Country of Origin Labelling of Food : to review the current provisions regarding mandatory country of origin labelling contained in Standard 1.1A.3 in the context of policy guidelines developed by the Australia and New Zealand Food Regulation Ministerial Council.
