In February 2006 we surveyed our website users to see what we could do to improve our website. Your suggestions have now been incorporated into a new website that is easier to use. This is a short guide to help you find your way around the website.

New ways to search the FSANZ website

You can use the improved FSANZ website search facility which will list documents in order of greatest use. You can also choose advanced search which will give you access to the www. fed.gov.au   website has a search facility that covers not only the FSANZ   website but also other Australian Government websites or you can enter your query in the Google text field to search the FSANZ website. If you want to restrict your search to only PDF and Word documents, select 'documents'.

None of the information has been removed from the FSANZ website; it has just been relocated under the following headings:

Standards Development

Monitoring and surveillance

This page has not changed and still contains information on how FSANZ carries out monitoring and surveillance including imported food, our evaluations and surveys. Note that the Food Recall information is now listed under Food Matters.
