Food products and PAN Pharmaceuticals (Australia only)

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has contacted food manufacturers and food retailers about whether their food products may contain ingredients supplied by Pan Pharmaceuticals.This cautious action is being taken following a finding by the Therapeutic Goods Administration of irregularities in the manufacturing practices of the company.

To date, the major food manufacturers have informed FSANZ that they have not sourced ingredients from Pan. Should any products be subsequently identified, FSANZ will work with food manufacturers and retailers to ensure an immediate withdrawal and the name and batch of the affected product will be listed on our website   www.foodstandards.gov.au  and on the Therapeutic Goods Administration’s website www.tga.gov.au .
