NUTTAB95 - NUTrient Data TABle for use in Australia

NUTrient Data TABle for use in Australia (1995) is an electronic, nutrient composition database compiled mainly from information originally published in the Composition of Foods, Australia (COFA) series. It contains nutrient data for some 1,800 foods expressed per 100 g edible portion.

What does the database contain?

Nutrient values for the following 27 nutrients, as well as 2 definitions of energy (kcal and kJ), are provided:

Proximate constituents (12):

Moisture, protein, carbohydrate (total), sugars (total), starch, dietary fibre, fat (total), saturated fat, polyunsaturated fat, monounsaturated fat, cholesterol, and alcohol.

Vitamins (8):

Retinol equivalents, retinol, beta-carotene equivalents, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, niacin equivalents, vitamin C.

Minerals (7):

Sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, phosphorus.
