Amendment 97 contains amendments to the following Standards in the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code:

1.3.2 – Vitamins and Minerals

1.4.2 – Maximum Residue Limits (Australia only)

1.5.2 – Food produced using Gene Technology

2.1.1 – Cereals and Cereal Products

The Applications and Proposal under which these amendments are made are as follows:

• Application A580 – Food derived from Amylase-modified Corn Line 3272
• Application A608 – Maximum Residue Limits - Oxytetracycline (Antibiotic)
• Proposal P230 – Consideration of Mandatory Fortification with Iodine for New Zealand
