Woolworths Limited wishes to advise its customers that it has initiated a consumer recall on the above product sold from its supermarket delicatessen department in Blackwater Supermarket, Queensland only. The reason for the recall is as a precaution. It is possible glass may have contaminated the cooked product.

Only 29 chickens of Woolworths BBQ Chickens Extra Large may have been affected by this recall.

Any customers who may still have unused chickens of Woolworths BBQ Chickens Extra Large purchased on Wednesday 28/05/08 at WOOLWORTHS BLACKWATER SUPERMARKET, QUEENSLAND only– either in their refrigerators or freezers – should not consume the product, but return the product to their nearest Woolworths Supermarket for a full cash refund.
