| Sliced Pastrami 410 gram and 430 gram cryovac packets (READY-TO-EAT) Available for sale from 2 May 2009 Meatworld Fishworld Maroochydore ( ONLY) 86 Wises Road, Maroochydore, QLD, 4558 Meatworld Fishworld Maroochydore wishes to advise its customers that it has initiated a consumer recall on the above product as a precautionary health measure. The recall is in response to testing which indicates the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. A total of 20kg Sliced Pastrami is affected by this recall. Listeria may cause illness in pregnant women, the very young, the elderly and people with low immune systems. Any customer concerned about their health should contact their doctor. Consumers are asked not to consume this product. If consumers know they have the affected product they should return it to Meatworld Fishworld Maroochydore for a full refund. The recall applies only to the above product. This recall is being undertaken to ensure the safety of our customers as an ongoing commitment to maintain the highest possible standards of safety and product quality at all times.
