The Board considered the Draft Assessment Report for Application A569 – Lipase from Hansenula Polymorpha as a Processing Aid (Enzyme).  The Board agreed to the recommendations in the Draft Assessment Report and the Report has been released for public consultation, prior to further consideration by the Board.

The Board considered the extension of time for Application A549 – Food Derived from High Lysine Corn LY038 in accordance with the requirements of the FSANZ Act.   The Board agreed, pursuant to section 35(2) of theFood Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991,to extend the time limit for Application A549 by 3 months to 24 October 2006.
